The FLIR GF320 (and other OGI cameras) is an infrared camera equipped with special filters that allow them to "see" methane and other volatile organic compounds (VOCs). 

How it works: The camera detects a gas plume as a shadow that stands out against the thermal radiation from its surroundings. OGI provides visual confirmation of leaks as small as 0.8 g/hour.

Like all FLIR GF-series cameras, the GF320 has three imaging modes: 1) infrared (IR) image, 2) visual image, and 3) high sensitivity mode (HSM).

System Solution Components

FLIR cameras are integrated with ViperVision software which directly communicates with most industrial platform controllers. The software will analyze and compare the data against predefined parameters and will trigger an alarm if warranted. These parameters can be adjusted based on the specific application needs.

Fixed thermal imaging cameras are mounted in industrial camera enclosures that use the appropriate purge and pressurization to protect the camera equipment. Viper Imaging provides solutions for Class I, Division I and Division II environments.
